It’s time for the launch of the NASCAR Local Racing Series Powered by O’Reilly Auto Parts with Hawkeye Downs Speedway!
Join us for the kick-off to the 101st racing season at Hawkeye Downs Speedway on Saturday, April 18th! This special event is FREE ADMISSION for fans of all ages.
Cedar Rapids Night Meet
The Cedar Rapids Night Meets are back and on the track! Join more than 600 badass cars, trucks, and bikes as we take over the track at Hawkeye Downs Speedway on Friday, April 24th. This event is brought to you by Brown's Ford in West Branch and is open to all makes and models.
Staging begins at 5:00pm and gates open at 6:00pm so get out early to secure the best spot. It is only $10 to park on the track! You know the drill, arrive together, park together, no saving spots.

All firearms brought into the gun show must first be checked by show security personnel and be unloaded and tied (with a gun tie making the weapon inoperable) at all times during the show attendance.
No loose ammunition (unboxed) is allowed in the gun show.
No cameras, video recorders and/or other such devices are allowed in the gun show without prior approval by management.
No alcoholic beverages, illegal drugs, or other such substances are allowed to be brought into the gun show by attendees.
TSP, Ltd. shall have the right to evict and/or arrest any gun show attendee for disorderly conduct, intoxication, or any other such actions.
All gun show attendees shall comply with all Iowa State and Federal Laws in the sale and/or purchase of firearms and related items as a condition of admission to the gun show.

4th Annual Car Show With A Cause
Join us for the Alex Prochaska Memorial Project's 4th Annual Car Show with a Cause at Hawkeye Downs Speedway!
It’s a perfect day for car lovers to gather and admire classic vintage and other amazing rides with trophies for the top 50. Enjoy tasty bites from food trucks and cool off with some ice cream. There will be fun games and door prizes plus a raffle for some great goodies.
Come share stories and celebrate the love of cars with friends and family! All cars are welcome! $20 Registration Fee.
Proceeds from this event go towards a scholarship fund at Kirkwood Community College. The scholarship supports hard-working students pursuing a career in the trades.
NASCAR Weekly Racing with Mid-Am Series
The Mid-Am Racing Series returns to Hawkeye Downs for “The Hawkeye Clash” on June 13, and if history tells us anything, expect fireworks.
Fans have seen it all at Hawkeye Downs: three-wide battles, door-to-door racing, and photo-finish moments that keep everyone on the edge of their seats. Last year, the action got so intense that one car even ended up outside the ballpark.
These drivers don’t lift, and the tight confines of Hawkeye Downs create some of the most intense short track racing in the Midwest.

ABOUT THE MILLER 100
First run in 1973, the Miller 100 has been a cornerstone of racing at Hawkeye Downs Speedway and a beloved tradition in Eastern Iowa. Known for attracting top regional talent and delivering high-energy competition supported by the Fleck family, the event quickly became one of the track’s most anticipated nights each season. Generations of drivers and fans have made memories at the Miller 100, cementing its place in Hawkeye Downs’ history. After a hiatus, the race made its celebrated return in 2025 as part of Hawkeye Downs’ 100th season of racing. In 2026, the tradition continues as the Miller 100 returns on July 11 with the ASA Midwest Tour with support from Keg 1 Iowa, building on its legacy while introducing a new era of excitement for racers and fans.

Iowa Concerns of Police Survivors (better known as C.O.P.S.) provides resources to assist in the rebuilding of the lives of surviving families and affected co-workers of law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty, as determined by Federal criteria. Iowa C.O.P.S. provides training to law enforcement agencies on survivor victimization issues and educates the public on the need to provide ongoing support to the law enforcement profession and its survivors.

WHAT IS ENDURO RACING?
Enduro racing (also known as endurance racing) is a very popular and inexpensive type of racing that is fun for anyone! The race starts with a short warm-up lap, and then drivers complete timed laps around the track. Enduro races are much longer, as they often last several hours.
These races are designed on our asphalt track at Hawkeye Downs. In recent years, our racing team has designed a road course with obstacles ranging from small jumps to high-speed corners, making it perfect for enthusiasts of all levels of driving skill. The Cedar Valley Rocks & Minerals Society presents its Rocks, Minerals & Fossil Show 2026 on Saturday, March 28th from 8:30am to 6pm and Sunday, March 29th from 9:30am to 4pm at Hawkeye Downs Speedway and Expo Center in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Gun Show Rules
All firearms brought into the gun show must first be checked by show security personnel and be unloaded and tied (with a gun tie making the weapon inoperable) at all times during the show attendance.
No loose ammunition (unboxed) is allowed in the gun show.
No cameras, video recorders and/or other such devices are allowed in the gun show without prior approval by management.
No alcoholic beverages, illegal drugs, or other such substances are allowed to be brought into the gun show by attendees.
TSP, Ltd. shall have the right to evict and/or arrest any gun show attendee for disorderly conduct, intoxication, or any other such actions.
All gun show attendees shall comply with all Iowa State and Federal Laws in the sale and/or purchase of firearms and related items as a condition of admission to the gun show.
Dirt at the Downs Oval Enduro
Time to celebrate 100 years of racing with the fan-favorite enduro races at Hawkeye Downs, presented by Marion Tire Co. and Mt. Vernon Road Tire Co., on Sunday, October 26th - on DIRT!!

WHAT IS ENDURO RACING?
Enduro racing (also known as endurance racing) is a very popular and inexpensive type of racing that is fun for anyone! The race starts with a short warm-up lap, and then drivers complete timed laps around the track. Enduro races are much longer, as they often last several hours.
These races are designed on our asphalt track at Hawkeye Downs. In recent years, our racing team has designed a road course with obstacles ranging from small jumps to high-speed corners, making it perfect for enthusiasts of all levels of driving skill. Midwest Antique & Art and The Collector's Eye Shows
The Midwest Antique & Art Show in conjunction with The Collector’s Eye Antique Show will be presented on Sunday, October 26th at Hawkeye Downs Fairgrounds in Cedar Rapids, IA. This show has earned a well-deserved reputation for attracting high quality dealers, nationally known for outstanding presentation of American Folk Art and Americana.
Art of all genres is the main attraction of the show. Whether it be the proportions and original surface of an 18th century piece of furniture or a carved wooden cigar store Indian or a naïve portrait of a woman from the 1830’s to the innovative, original designs of mid 20th century furniture, garden, holiday, pottery…it is all wonderful examples of art.
Advertising comes in great examples of artistic design and will be represented by several dealers from both shows. Dennis Healzer from Illinois, Mr. & Mrs. Smith from Harland, IA and Zap Props from Chicago, IL will be bringing exceptional advertising items. Treasured smalls for any collector will be displayed by several dealers such as Country Love from Metamora, IL, JoDan’s Antiques from Hiawatha, IA, Elizabeth Johnson from Kansas City, MO and Main Street Antiques from West Branch, IA.
Folk art is one of the top features of the Midwest Show and will be represented by Tom van Deest, Larry Carrol and Thom Rawson from Cedar Rapids along with Nancy & Craig Cheney from Mansfield, OH as well as Jeff Roelof from Kalamazoo, MI and Scott Heffley from Kansas City, MO.
Nationally known furniture dealers Jim & Jody Lowery from New York, Rich Myers and Suzanne Baker from Indiana and Craig Illa from Missouri will be bringing serious merchandise for serious buyers.
There will be phenomenal garden and holiday items for any seasoned collectors.
The show is continually evolving and is attractive not only to the traditional Americana audiences but also to the younger, hip generation as well. It is still a living show after 38 plus years.
Parking is free with a $10 admission good for both shows. The Collector’s Eye Show celebrates it’s 20th year at this show.

HEY RACERS! Are you interested in reserving a paved pit stall at the track? Contact Brian Gibson at brian.gibson@hawkeyedowns.org with your name, phone number, and length of your hauler. Phone call/text reservation requests will NOT be accepted. Dirt parking stalls will be available with no reservation required. Check-in on race night to claim your pit stall is required by 4:30PM or your pit stall will be forfeited. Cost per reserved pit stall is $20.

ABOUT THE PRAIRIE TRACTOR PULLERS
In the 80s, a group from Norway, Watkins, and Blairstown areas thought it would be fun to have tractor pulls with stock garden tractors. All of these towns were along the Prairie Creek, hence the name Prairie Tractor Pullers. For many years, the club has held pulls at town celebrations and county fairs. What started out in a local area has grown across the state. Over the years, we have seen many generations of families grow up pulling garden tractors and now mini rods. We now pull classes such as Stock, Stock Youth, Stock V-Twin, Super Modified, and 4-Cylinder. Open. Traveling all over the state of Iowa. For over 40 years, this club has been going Strong!
