KCRG: Almost 1,500 students try out 50+ trades and careers in ‘Build My Future’ career event

On Tuesday, April 30th, local organizers hosted “Build My Future” at Hawkeye Downs in Cedar Rapids.

Build My Future, hosted by the Future Builders of Iowa and the local home builders associations, gives 7th through 12th-grade students an opportunity to spend a day in the construction industry through an interactive showcase.
