Want to try Juice Box Go-Kart racing at Hawkeye Downs?
We’re looking for young racers to try out our Juice Box Go-Kart Racing at select Friday night races and our Tuesday Night Titans racing program!
Kids age 6 and under WHO HAVE PRE-REGISTERED will be invited to race during select Friday night racing’s intermission exhibition race! Our Tuesday Night Titans racers will check in at the front ticket booth to register on the day of the race.
HOW IT WORKS
Pre-registration is available at the Merchandise Stand under the Grandstand. Parents are required to complete the registration form in its entirety and the liability waiver, as well as pre-pay the $30 pit pass for each child to be eligible to race. Forms are available at the Merchandise Stand or by downloading them via the button below.
DAY OF RACING (FRIDAY NIGHT RACES 5/22, 5/29, 6/26 WITH POTENTIAL ADDITIONAL DATES ADDED)
The participant and the parent should meet the HD staff member at 6:45pm at the Merchandise booth under the grandstand to verify the completeness of the paperwork, sign the day-of-release form, make payment (if needed), and verify safety requirements. All racers should wear closed-toed shoes and a bike or race helmet (long- sleeve shirts and pants are recommended but not required).
At the beginning of intermission (typically after the heat races), participants and one parent should meet under the flag stand. Our HD volunteers will escort our Juice Box Racers to the start-finish line and their Juice Box Go-Kart. Parents should prepare the racer by helping them buckle into the cart and placing their helmet on.
TUESDAY NIGHT TITANS RACING (6/2, 6/16, 6/23, 7/21, 8/4, 8/18)
On Race Day, check in at the front Ticket Booth and complete required paperwork, payment, and safety verification. Participants and guests will then sit in the Grandstand until the Juice Box Race is announced. After the announcement, the racer and one parent should meet under the Flag Stand. Our HD volunteers will escort our Juice Box Racers to the start-finish line and their Juice Box Go-Kart. Parents should prepare the racer by helping them get buckled in the cart and place their helmet.
Both Friday night and Tuesday Night Titans Participants with their own Juice Box Go-Karts should place their cart under the flag stand upon arrival.
PRE-REGISTRATION AND PRE-PAID $30 PIT PASS IS REQUIRED FOR ALL JUICE BOX RACERS INTERESTED IN PARTICIPATING.
