Tuesday Night Titans

Hawkeye Downs welcomes all individuals interested in starting their racing journey to the track for special Tuesday Night Racing.

Racing will feature Go-Karts, including Rookie, Kid Karts, Jr. 1, Jr. 2, Champ, Clone Heavy, 206 Sprint (oval), Semi Pro Clone, BP Cage Karts, Rookie Red Plate, R-Box Cage, and Predator Kart classes. In 2026, Hawkeye Downs will also host Juice Box racing on Tuesday nights!

Racers of all ages are welcome to join.

Transponder rental $15
Adult money class $20 with 100% payback
Youth pit pass (non-participant, ages 6-17) $20
Youth pit pass (non-participant, ages 0-5) FREE

Want to try Juice Box Go-Kart racing at Hawkeye Downs?

FRIDAY NIGHT INTERMISSION EXHIBITION RACING

We’re looking for young racers to try out our Juice Box Go-Kart Racing at select Friday night races!

During the intermission, kids under age 6 who have pre-registered will be contacted to participate in the Juice Box Go-Kart race. For this special Friday night race, we are currently able to accommodate FOUR racers in our HD Juice Box Go-Karts, plus up to two additional racers with their own Juice Box Go-Karts. 

Pre-registration is available at the Merch Stand under the Grandstand. Parents are REQUIRED to complete both the registration form and the waiver, and pre-pay the $30 pit pass for their kiddo to be eligible to participate. Forms are available in the Merch Stand. Selected Juice Box racers will meet under the flag stand at the beginning of intermission. All racers should wear closed-toed shoes and a bike or racing helmet (long-sleeved shirts and pants are recommended but not required). Scheduled race nights in 2026 are Friday, May 22nd, Friday, May 29th, and Friday, June 26th.

Our HD volunteers will escort our Juice Box racers to the start-finish line to get them set up in their Juice Box Go-Karts. Racing will begin after the lineup!

PRE-REGISTRATION AND PRE-PAID $30 PIT PASS IS REQUIRED FOR ALL JUICE BOX RACERS INTERESTED IN PARTICIPATING.

  • Tuesday Night Titans features Go-Karts, including Rookie, Kid Karts, Jr. 1, Jr. 2, Champ, Adult Clone, 206 Sprint (oval), and Juice Box classes.

  • For Go Karts, please visit Rieken’s Racing website to contact and and make an appointment.

    To purchase the Juice Box Kart, racers will purchase the Radio Flyer 24-Volt Ultimate Go Kart. It is the only kart allowed to compete in the Juice Box class. These are widely accessible and can be purchased through major retailers, including Amazon, Walmart, and directly from Radio Flyer.

  • All drivers are responsible for obtaining their own safety gear. This includes a bike helmet along with a long-sleeve shirt, pants, and closed-toed shoes.

    Rieken’s Racing and Legends.Direct can both assist with this.

  • Go Kart racers should be seven years old and older (as of January 1, 2026), with the exception of Juice Box racers. Juice Box racers are to be six years old and younger.

  • The pits will open to drivers and crew at 4:30pm. Drivers meeting will be held in the tech barn at 6:15pm. Hot laps will begin on the track at 6:30pm. Opening ceremonies will be at 7:00pm with racing to follow.

  • We are seeking fans in the stands and sponsors for this racing program!
