Tuesday Night Titans
Tuesday, June 2nd | 7:05PM
Hawkeye Downs welcomes all individuals interested in starting their racing journey to the track for special Tuesday Night Racing. Racing will feature Go-Karts, including Rookie, Kid Karts, Jr. 1, Jr. 2, Champ, Adult Clone, and 206 Sprint (oval) classes. In 2026, Hawkeye Downs will also host Juice Box racing on Tuesday nights! Racers of all ages are welcome to join.
Make plans to attend and support the next generation of racing! Get tickets now on My Race Pass or at the gate. Gates open at 6:00PM with racing to begin at 7:05PM.

4th Annual Car Show with a Cause
Saturday, June 6th | 10:00AM-2:30PM
Join us for the Alex Prochaska Memorial Project's 4th Annual Car Show with a Cause at Hawkeye Downs Speedway!
It’s a perfect day for car lovers to gather and admire classic vintage and other amazing rides, with trophies for the top 50. Enjoy tasty bites from food trucks and cool off with some ice cream. There will be fun games and door prizes, plus a raffle for some great goodies.
Come share stories and celebrate the love of cars with friends and family! All cars are welcome! $20 Registration Fee. Proceeds from this event go towards a scholarship fund at Kirkwood Community College. The scholarship supports hard-working students pursuing a career in the trades.

75-Lap Road Course Enduro + Powder Puff Enduro

There’s nothing quite like enduro racing at Hawkeye Downs Speedway! Sponsored by Marion Tire Co. and Mt. Vernon Tire Co., these races bring intense competition, unpredictable moments, and plenty of excitement for fans of all ages. When the Powder Puff Enduro sponsored by All Seasons Automotive hits the track, the energy gets even bigger with fearless female drivers behind the wheel.
Come experience why enduro races are some of the most entertaining events of the season for just $10 general admission on Sunday, June 7th 🏁
Racing at Hawkeye Downs
For the last 100 years, Hawkeye Downs Speedway has been home to one of the most popular race tracks in Iowa. The track features ¼ mile and ½ mile banked asphalt ovals for weekly stock car racing, enduros, street drags, drifting expos, and more. Hosting Events at Hawkeye Downs Expo Center
From trade shows to annual meetings to auctions to weddings and beyond, the Expo Center is perfect for any event. Hawkeye Downs offers an event space with over 35,000 total square feet of temperature-controlled space for hosting events of all sizes. The Expo Center is located strategically near the highway with access to a variety of hotels and attracts over 100,000 visitors annually.
