THE GAZETTE — “Corey Crispin’s future is up in the air.

Crispin, a three-time Hornets track champion (2021, 2023 and 2024) at Hawkeye Downs Speedway, is competing in two divisions this season — Hornets and Sportsman.

But the 2026 NASCAR Weekly Racing Series could be his last as a points driver.

“I’m saying it’s my retirement year,” Crispin said. “I might be back for a couple races next year, but as far as full-time racing, this is it.”
